Tier Built (ABN 65 682 736 189), a registered business name of Core Green Plumbing Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), respects your privacy and is committed to handling your personal information openly and fairly. This policy explains what we collect through tierbuilt.com.au, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Tier Built is a small business under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), which means we're not currently required to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles the way larger organisations are. We've written this policy consistent with those principles anyway, because handling your information properly is part of how we do business.

What we collect

When you enquire about a renovation, we collect what you give us through the enquiry form or over the phone: your name, phone number, email address, property address, and details about the project you're enquiring about, including any photos you choose to send us.

If we visit your property for a quote, we may also collect information relevant to preparing that quote, such as measurements, photos of the space, and notes about the scope of work.

Like most websites, ours also collects some technical information automatically when you visit, things like your browser type, device, and which pages you looked at, generally through tools like Google Business Profile insights and standard website analytics. This doesn't identify you personally.

How we use it

We use your information to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and arrange a site visit

  • Prepare and provide your quote

  • Communicate with you about your project, from quote to completion

  • Keep records for jobs we've completed

  • Improve our website and how we respond to enquiries

  • Send you a review or referral request after your job is finished, if you're happy to hear from us‍ ‍

We won't use your details for marketing you haven't agreed to, and we don't sell your personal information to anyone.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary with:

  • Trades and suppliers directly involved in your job, where relevant to getting the work done

  • Our website hosting, email, CRM and Invoice providers, who store or process information on our behalf

  • Google, through Google Business Profile and website analytics

Some of these providers store data on servers located outside Australia, including the United States. Where that happens, it's through mainstream providers (like Google) as part of their standard hosting and analytics services.

We don't disclose your information to anyone else unless we're required to by law.

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, loss, or unauthorised access, including secure storage of records and limiting access to people who need it to do their job.
